Die beiden großen Weltkriege, die Dramen des modernen Europa, hatten und haben ihre Auswirkungen in vielen Aspekten des Lebens. Während im ersten Weltkrieg die Bedeutung der Kavallerie nur noch marginal war und im zweiten Weltkrieg kann aus Sicht der Strategie dem millionenfachen Einsatz von Pferden nur eine Rolle als Transportmittel zugesprochen werden. Nachdem es über die Jahrtausende in zahllosen Kriegen eine entscheidende Rolle gespielt hatte, mit seinem Reiter in den Krieg gezogen war und oft genug dort auch sein Leben ließ, hatte das Pferd nun ausgedient. Das Leid der Pferde, aber auch die kleinen glücklichen Momente - sogar in Kriegszeiten - haben sich den Menschen, die diese Zeit erlebten, tief ins Gedächtnis eingebrannt. Bald 70 Jahre ist der Krieg nun zu Ende, es gibt nur noch wenige Zeitzeugen - höchste Zeit, ihre Geschichten nieder zu sammeln und nieder zu schreiben!
Die Idee, wahre Geschichten über Pferde und deren Menschen aus dem Krieg zu sammeln, kam mir bei einem Telefonat mit einem alten deutschen Züchter, der mir aus Kriegszeiten erzählte. Nun möchte ich - mit eurer Hilfe - dieses Projekt starten und all den kleinen und großen Geschichten die Chance geben, erzählt und gehört zu werden. Solange es noch Menschen gibt, die uns darüber berichten können.
Es ist nicht das Ziel, den Krieg zu verherrlichen oder ewig Gestrigen eine Plattform zu schaffen, sondern um uns und unseren Kindern die Möglichkeit zu geben, etwas sehr Persönliches aus der Vergangenheit zu erfahren, Geschichten von Reitern und Pferdeliebhabern für Reiter und Pferdeliebhaber. Traurige, glückliche, schreckliche und schöne Momente, die - wenn sie nicht erzählt würden - bald vergessen sind.
Wenn Ihr Menschen kennt, die noch im Krieg waren und solche Geschichten haben, bitte ich Euch, diese hier niederzuschreiben (und mir bitte auch per E-Mail an storyteller@nomadencamp.de mit Namen und Wohnort des Erzählers zu senden).
Nur mit Hilfe aller kann das Projekt gelingen, nun lasst uns beginnen!

The two major world wars, the dramas of modern Europe had and have their impact on many aspects of todays life. During WW I, the importance of cavalry was only marginally and during WW II the usage of millions of horses can - from the perspective of strategy - only be attributed to a role as a transport vehicle. In countless wars it had played a crucial over the millennia: the horse moved with his rider into war and often enough rider and horse lossed their lives. in 20th century the horse had outlived its usefulness. The suffering of the horses, but also the little happy moments - even in times of war – deeply burned in the memory of the people who experienced that days. Almost 70 years after the end of war, there are only a few witnesses left - it is time to collect their stories and write them down! Not only the memories of peoples of a single land, but memories of all of our european ancestors.
The idea to collect true stories about horses and their people from the war, came to me during a conversation with an old german breeder, who told me about the times of war. Now I want to start this project and give all the little and big stories the chance to be told and heard - with your help. As long as there are people who can tell us about it.
It is not the goal to glorify war or to create a platform for forever-yesterday-minded folk. The goal is to give us and our children the opportunity to learn something very personal from the past, to listen stories of riders and horse lovers. Sad, happy, beautiful and terrible moments that will be soon forgotten - when they were not told.

LIVRE PROJET «CHEVEAUX EN GUERRE"
Amis de la France, je m'excuse d'avance pour la mauvaise langue que vous apporterez plus en détail dans les termes suivants, mon inquiétude. Je n'ai malheureusement d'utiliser l'outil de traduction Google et qui est, malheureusement, pas très approprié. Etes-vous sûr, mon français serait plus horrible que la traduction .. ;-) Merci pour la lecture!
Les deux grandes guerres mondiales, les drames de l'Europe moderne avaient, et ont leur impact sur de nombreux aspects de la vie. Pendant la Première Guerre mondiale, l'importance de la cavalerie et n'a été que marginalement durant la seconde guerre mondiale dans la perspective de la stratégie utilisée par des millions de chevaux ne peuvent être attribués à un rôle de transport. Après avoir joué au cours des millénaires dans les innombrables guerres, un rôle crucial, avait déménagé avec son cavalier dans la guerre et assez souvent il y avait sa vie, le cheval avait désormais perdu de son utilité. La souffrance des chevaux, mais aussi les petits moments heureux - même en temps de guerre - ont les gens qui ont vécu cette époque, profondément gravé dans la mémoire. Près de 70 années de guerre à sa fin, il ya seulement quelques témoins - Basse grand temps pour recueillir leurs histoires et à écrire!
L'idée de rassembler des histoires vraies sur les chevaux et leur peuple de la guerre, est venu à moi au cours d'une conversation téléphonique avec un vieux éleveurs allemands, qui m'a dit en temps de guerre. Maintenant, je veux - pour commencer ce projet et donner toutes les petites histoires et grands la chance d'être dit et entendu - avec votre aide. Tant qu'il ya des gens qui peuvent nous dire à ce sujet.
Il n'est pas le but, la guerre ou de glorifier à jamais de créer une plate-forme hier, mais de donner à nous et nos enfants l'occasion d'apprendre quelque chose de très personnel dans le passé, des histoires de cavaliers et amateurs de chevaux pour les cavaliers et amateurs de chevaux. Triste, heureux, des moments magnifiques et terribles - quand ils n'ont pas été informés - sont vite oubliés.

Dwie wielkie wojny swiatowe, dramaty wspólczesnej Europy, mialy
i maja wplyw na wiele aspektów wspólczesnego zycia. Podczas
I wojny swiatowej znaczenie kawalerii bylo niewielkie, natomiast podczas
II wojny swiatowej miliony koni mialy, ze strategicznego punktu widzenia,
znaczenie jedynie jako srodek transportu. W niezliczonych wojnach rozgrywanych
przez tysiaclecia kon odgrywal kluczowa role: bral udzial w wojnie wraz
ze swoim jezdzcem i dosc czesto obaj tracili zycie. W XX wieku udzial
koni w wojnie dobiegl konca. Cierpienia koni, ale takze krótkie
chwile szczescia - nawet w czasie wojny - gleboko wypalily sie w pamieci
ludzi, którzy tych czasów doswiadczyli.
Prawie 70 lat po zakonczeniu wojny, pozostalo juz niewielu swiadków
- to ostatnia chwila, aby zebrac i zapisac ich historie! Nie tylko wspomnienia
ludzi z jednego kraju, ale pamiec calej Europy.
Pomysl, aby zbierac prawdziwe wojenne historie o koniach i zwiazanych z nimi ludziach, przyszedl do mnie w trakcie rozmowy ze starym niemieckim hodowca, który opowiedzial mi o czasach wojny. Teraz chcial bym rozpoczac projekt, który jest szansa aby te male i wielkie historie zostaly opowiedziane i wysluchane – z Wasza pomoca – dopóki zyja ludzie, którzy moga nam o tym powiedziec.
Celem projektu nie jest gloryfikowanie wojny lub stwarzanie platformy dla ludzi zyjacych tylko tragiczna przeszloscia. Celem jest, danie nam i naszym dzieciom mozliwosc poznania przezyc, czesto bardzo osobistych, wysluchania historii o jezdzcach, kawalerzystach i milosnikach koni. Smutne, szczesliwe, piekne i straszne chwile, które – jesli nie zostana opowiedziane – wkrótce ulegna zapomnieniu.
Jesli znacie ludzi, którzy wciaz pamietaja wojne i moga (i chcieli by) te historie opowiedziec, prosze was, o napiszcie o tym tutaj (i prosze wyslijcie mi e-mail: storyteller@nomadencamp.de podajac nazwisko i adres narratora).
